1. Who is eligible to participate in this contest?

You are eligible to participate if you have bought a product from Urban Ladder at any point and if you are a resident of Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi/NCR, Chennai or Pune.

2. Am I eligible as a customer though I have not received an email about the contest this time around?

That is unlikely. But, you can participate even if you have not received an email from us about the contest. Your entry will be considered.

3. How do I enter the contest?

Step 1: Arrange the product from Urban Ladder in your home in a cool and interesting manner.

Step 2: Have your friends over and take a fun photograph with the product from UL in the frame. Do make sure the product is clearly visible.

Step 3: Go to http://www.facebook.com/urbanladder 

Step 4: Click on 'Upload Photo', choose the photo you want to upload, tag all the friends in the picture, write a few lines if you like and click 'Post'

(Ensure you tag only those friends who are actually in the picture.)

Step 5: If you haven't already, TAG your friends! :D This is important because your friends are in it to win too!

4. How do I submit an entry in case I am not on Facebook? Is there any other way I can post the picture?

Yes, if you do not have a Facebook account, you can email the pictures to hello@urbanladder.com or tweet it to us @UrbanLadder and we will put it up on our Facebook wall. However, it would be preferable to post your entry on our Facebook wall where others can enjoy it and comment about it! . 

5. What is the prize?

The total amount up for grabs is a whopping Rs.60,000. The best UL party picture wins Rs.30,000 worth of UL vouchers. The second and third best pictures win UL vouchers worth Rs.20,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively.

All the three vouchers will be split equally among all the friends tagged in the respective pictures! Now, isn't that fun? Your friends just can't refuse the invite now ;)

6. What are the criteria for winning?

Winners will be chosen based on how fun and creative their photograph is. The product from UL should be prominently visible in the photograph. And the more friends you have tagged in the picture, the better your chances of winning.

**Please note that any photographs submitted during this period that fall outside of the party theme will not be considered as valid contest entries.**

7. What is the last date for the contest?

Please send in your entries on or before Jan 6, 2014.

8. Can I send more than one entry?

If you have more than one product from Urban Ladder at your home, you are welcome to post pictures of all of them. However, for each product we'd prefer that you choose the best picture and post only one entry.

9. Can I use filters or photo editing software to make it look good?

Yes, you can use photo editing software to enhance the picture.

10. How will I be notified if I have won the contest?

If you win, we will notify you on email and requesting the details of all the friends tagged in the picture! Then, it will be time to have another party :)

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By participating in the contest, you have agreed to all the terms and conditions of the contest.

- You entry could be disqualified if you tag friends who are not present in the picture.

- The amount you win will be split equally among all the friends tagged in the picture.

- If you make a purchase that is greater than the value of the prize coupon, then the balance is payable on delivery (except if the product is a sofa).

Urban Ladder reserves the right at any time, with or without cause, to:

- change the terms and conditions of this contest

- decide the winners of this contest

- deny or terminate a user's participation in this contest

Urban Ladder reserves the right to use the submitted photographs without any compensation. We may use the submitted photos as testimonials on our Facebook page or newsletter or the website or in other promotional material.

We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. The information provided will only be used to to identify your reviews and photographs as your own.

Participants must agree not to post or provide any Content that belongs to any person other than themselves unless they first obtain permission to do so, and to grant to us the rights granted in this agreement, from that person.

Every participant must agree and undertake to participate in this contest only to post and upload messages or photographs that are proper. Participants can be held legally liable for their contents and may be held legally accountable if their contents or material include, for example, defamatory comments or material protected by copyright, trademark, etc. If you come across any abuse or violation of these Terms, please report to hello@urbanladder.com

- defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others;

- upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents; you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents;

- upload or distribute files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of the Website or another's computer;

- violate any code of conduct or other guidelines, which may be applicable for or to any particular Service;

- violate any applicable laws or regulations for the time being in force in or outside India.
